David Suissa is the founder and editor-in-chief of OLAM magazine, a worldwide forum for spirituality, and unity. David was named one of the 50 most influential Jewish leaders in America by the Forward newspaper. His charitable work extends beyond the Jewish world to include projects for AIDS, abandoned children and drug abuse, for which he won a presidential award. David is a sought-after speaker on college campuses, and his essays are regularly published in newspapers across the country.

David's dream was always to spread his message of unity to the world. That's why he started OLAM at the beginning of 2000.

OLAM stands for One Light for All Mankind, the idea being that there are certain values that unite all of humanity. The magazine, with over 3 million readers worldwide, aims to foster a spiritual conversation on issues of modern relevance. The magazine “lives” unity by including writers of all denominations. The focus is on universal Judaic values, in the spirit of the eternal Judaic mission of being a Light unto the Nations.

Because OLAM has no advertising, it depends on its readers and supporters for its continued success. We are immensely grateful to all of our donors, and for any donation –big or small- you can provide to help us continue shining our light unto the world.
